Wine
It's not always easy to pair wine with chocolate. Often we opt for a sweet, mellow wine which can be too sweet.

With a white or milk chocolate, a Riesling or a Pinot Gris is perfect.
But with a good dark chocolate, a red wine from the Rhône Valley is perfect.
Like this beautiful cuvée from Maison Denuzière, a single varietal Syrah, an emblematic grape variety of the Rhône Valley. It is a real gourmet wine:
a beautiful ruby color, an expressive nose with notes of blackcurrant, blackberry, cocoa embellished with a few touches of spices, a supple, velvety mouthfeel.
It is a cuvée that should be drunk young. Its beautiful freshness also goes well with fish.
The vines flourish in the northern Rhône valley, in the Malleval and Ampuis communes, terroirs adjoining the Saint-Joseph and Côte Rôtie AOPs.
The J. Denuzière house dates back to 1876. Several prestigious appellations from the northern Rhône are part of it, such as Condrieu, Côte-Rôtie, Crozes-Hermitage and Cornas.
Alcohol abuse is dangerous for health. To consume with moderation.
