This single malt results from the collaboration between the master distillers of Glen Moray and Saint James, producer of agricultural rums from Martinique. This whiskey finished its aging for two years in barrels that contained the 1997 Saint James cuvée.
For Marc Sassier, Saint James master distiller and president of AOC Martinique, this marriage of two worlds brings "the delicacy and finesse of Glen Moray whiskey and the character and warmth of Rhum Agricole Saint James". Its tasting notes are intense and balanced.
Established for 125 years in Speyside, in the northeast of Scotland, Glen Moray is a whiskey distillery on a human scale that produces round, lovely and fruity Single Malts, typical of the region. Its small team is dedicated to exploring flavors, combining both tradition and audacity. It perpetuates a know-how transmitted from generation to generation and constantly renews the art of aging and blending barrels, to offer authentic and perfectly balanced Single Malts, with aromatic richness.
