Wine
The mythical bird rising from its ashes inspires the new single malt from the Glen Moray distillery. It aged a smooth and balanced whisky in new oak barrels, the interior of which was charred.
Latest edition : 20 November 2023
Nose :
Aromas of coconut, creamy caramel and milk chocolate highlighted by peppery notes.
Mouth :
Caramel gives way to gentle notes of woody spices, vanilla and sweet ginger. A peppery touch fades in favor of light oak, nuts and malt.
The Glen Moray distillery has been exploring the influence of casks on single malt whisky and renewing the art of aging for over 125 years. In 1897, its first spirit was already packaged in an unusual variety of barrels for the time, including marsala - and sherry barrels. Even today, it is from the exploration of barrels that the perfect alliance between the consensual taste of Speyside and an incomparable aromatic richness is born.
