This Gewurztraminer comes from a selection of the most beautiful terroirs of Bergheim, vineyards on hillsides on the famous geological fault of Ribeauvillé.
2019 was a very contrasting wine year which resulted in exceptional harvest conditions. The hot, dry and mild weather recorded during the month of September contributed to the perfect maturity of the grapes and to superb sugar/acidity balances, heralding great wines.
The grapes are exclusively harvested by hand. Pressing is carried out in whole bunches on pneumatic presses in order to avoid any crushing and respect the grapes as much as possible.
Juice separation is carried out to optimize the quality of the wines.
Finally, after static settling, the wines ferment under temperature control and are then aged on fine lees for 3 to 6 months.
Alcohol abuse is dangerous for health. To consume with moderation.
