This is our favorite address, a small charming hotel nestled in the heart of nature 18 km from Monsaraz. If you are a fan of nightlife, do not go there. If you want to disconnect, taste tasty cuisine with local and homemade products, this is the perfect place. You won't get bored there, however, since themed weekends are regularly offered: wine tasting, Alentejano singing, picnics, walks...
By opening their guest house in 2016, the Brites family realized their dream. Given the size, there are only a few rooms, the house does not have a catering service. But on request, it is possible to dine at the family table after a tasting of wines and olive oils in the cellar.
Each of the seven bedrooms overlooks a small terrace with a hammock, a swimming pool and a small lake to cool off in summer. Vegetables and fruits are grown on site and paths invite you to stroll, far from any noise. At night, all you have to do is look up to admire another spectacle: myriads of stars! Because, another superlative: the “Dark Sky Alqueva” is reputed to be the best place in the world to observe the stars!
