It was in 1921 that the independent winegrowers of Cascastel joined forces and created the cooperative cellar. In 2006, they merged with the winegrowers of the Saint-Jean-de-Barrou, Fraisse and Villesèque-des-Corbières cellars. A union that allows constant development, the pooling of cutting-edge technological means and tools, and the transmission of know-how.
The cellar brings together around sixty artisan winegrowers cultivating 800 hectares of vines, often difficult to access, for a production of around 27,000 hl per year. AOPs represent 80% of the production of Cascastel winegrowers: mainly AOP Fitou and AOP Corbières, but also a little red/rosé AOP Languedoc and AOP Muscat de Rivesaltes. The cellar also offers the IGP Vallée du Paradis red/rosé/white.

For the Master Winegrowers of Cascastel, quality wine naturally rhymes with environmental protection and biodiversity.
