The history of Maison Guigal, founded in 1946 by Etienne Guigal in Ampuis, the birthplace of the Côte-Rôtie appellation, is rich and marked by the motto inscribed on the walls of the Château d'Ampuis: "No Good Without Pain." Three generations have nurtured this iconic winery. Discover it at the Château's wine cellar, a beautiful 19th-century residence nestled at the foot of the Côte-Rôtie vineyard terraces. On the agenda: discovering wines from the family's five estates, tastings, and an immersion in the region's history and expertise in the museum space.
