Practical information

Bag-in-box (BIB) products are available in many large supermarkets such as
E. Leclerc, Carrefour, or Intermarché for €11.95 per 3-liter BIB.

This is a really nice initiative started by Les Grands Chais de France: solidarity BIBs ensuring fair compensation for winegrowers.

More than just a product, the "Support Our Winemakers" Bag-In-Boxes embody a responsible economic model, with a focus on fair price distribution: of the €11.95 (consumer price), 48% (excluding taxes and duties) goes directly to the winemakers. This compensation, on average 20% above the average price of the relevant PDO wines, allows them to make a living from their work and continue investing in their vineyards. On the one hand, a reasonable price for the consumer, and on the other, fair compensation for the winemaker. The five Bag-In-Boxes in the "Support Our Winemakers" range offer a tour of France's legendary red wine terroirs, from the high-altitude vineyards of Corbières (Languedoc-Roussillon), through the Côtes-du-Rhône (Rhône Valley), Bordeaux, Buzet, and Bergerac (Southwest). Born from close collaboration with partner winemakers, each vintage faithfully reflects its appellation and expresses, with every sip, the story of its terroir. Elegant, powerful, fruity, rich, luscious, fresh... all the nuances are present in these red wines, making them perfect companions for every occasion, from grilled meats to chocolate desserts.
Their convenient format also ensures optimal wine preservation.
