Founded in 1811 in Saumur (Maine-et-Loire), Maison Ackerman is the oldest sparkling wine producer in the Loire Valley, specializing in the production of Saumur and Crémant de Loire appellations. The cellars in Saumur, carved into the tuffeau limestone, are well worth a visit.
