The white grape variety "len de l'ehl" – meaning "far from the eye" – is primarily cultivated in the Gaillac appellation. Its name comes from the fact that the grape grows far from the bud (the eye). It forms beautiful bunches with juicy berries. Wines produced with this grape variety are characterized by great finesse, freshness, and elegance.

Maison Labastide is located in the heart of the ancient Gaillac vineyards. Founded in 1949 in the heart of Occitanie, it is the oldest cooperative winery in the Tarn region. The dual climatic influence (Atlantic and Mediterranean), the diversity of the Tarn soils, and the unique character of the emblematic local grape varieties allow the cooperative winemakers to produce wines with a strong identity.

Thanks to the rich and diverse terroir, the winery produces a beautiful range of wines, from everyday wines to complex and refined wines for aging.
