Melon B (or Melon de Bourgogne) is a white grape variety originating from the Burgundy vineyards. While not widely used in its region of origin, the grape variety is common in Loire-Atlantique under the name Muscadet.

Built in the early 17th century in La Chapelle-Heulin near Nantes and close to the Loire River, Château Cassemichère is one of the birthplaces of Muscadet wine.
