At Domaine J. Martellière, winemaking has been a tradition for five generations.   Jean Martellière took over the family estate in 1967 and developed it over the years. In 2004, Jean passed on his expertise and passion to his grandson, Jean Vivien

The winegrower works in a traditional way: all operations are carefully planned to bring the best to the vine at the right time, thus guaranteeing excellent grape quality.

The vineyard is managed using sustainable and responsible viticulture practices. The vines are grassed over, without tilling, to preserve soil structure and biomass. The vine shoots are shredded to maintain the organic matter content.
Beneficial flora and fauna are protected throughout the vineyard. In the cellar, the winemaker strives for a harmonious balance between traditional family winemaking methods and modern winemaking techniques.
Alcoholic fermentation occurs using indigenous yeasts. Very few oenological products are used.

Excessive alcohol consumption is dangerous for your health. Drink in moderation.
