The story of this family estate in the heart of the Drôme Provençale, where lavender and apricots are also cultivated, is that of Jean-Louis and Daniel Roux, two orphaned brothers. Despite their young age, 18 and 16 respectively, they embarked on a journey to make their land profitable. In 1973, the Tricastin AOC was created. Jean-Louis and Daniel continued planting Grenache grapes before turning to Syrah. The arrival of the younger generation led to the creation of the GAEC du Serre des Vignes (a type of agricultural cooperative). From 2003 onwards, winemaking ceased to be done through a cooperative. Since 2011, the estate has held organic certification. The appellation was renamed "Grignan les Adhémar".
